In this Privacy Policy, ‘us’ ‘we’ or ‘our’ means Budgetezy App Pty Ltd ABN 81 676 272 834 and our related entities. This Privacy Policy describes how Budgetezy, a budgeting app developed and operated by Budgetezy App Pty Ltd, collects, uses, and handles information about you. By using Budgetezy, you agree to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of services, available here. We may also be bound by the Australian Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly when you use Budgetezy, including:

Account information: Email address and name. Authentication credentials are handled by our authentication provider.
Budget information: Details about your budget that you enter into the app.
Connected service information: When you choose to connect another service to Budgetezy, Budgetezy processes requests made through that service and the information needed to complete those requests.
We do not collect any financial institution data or connect directly to your bank accounts.

Other information

We may request to collect other information for the purposes of supporting the functioning of Budgetezy. We will always ask your permission and explain how the information is used.

When you use Budgetezy, we may collect limited technical and usage information needed to operate, secure, understand, and improve the service. This may include pages or features used, the time and date of use, internet protocol address, an internal account identifier, and limited marketing attribution information. We do not include your budget information in product usage analytics.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide and maintain Budgetezy.
To improve the ability of Budgetezy to service you.
Communicate with you about your account and the app.
Improve Budgetezy based on user feedback and usage patterns.

Service Providers and Connected Services

Budgetezy uses service providers for functions such as hosting, authentication, payments, communications, and service operations. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to Budgetezy.

When you choose to connect another service to Budgetezy, information needed to complete your request is sent to that service under your direction. We may also provide information where required by law.

We do not sell your personal information or share it with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

Retention

We keep account and budget information while your Budgetezy account is active. When you delete your account, Budgetezy deletes that information from its active application systems as part of the deletion process. User-linked operational logs and usage telemetry are retained for no more than 90 days. Limited information may be retained for longer where required for billing, dispute resolution, security, or legal obligations, after which it is deleted or de-identified.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure.

Your Choices

You can access and update your account information at any time. You can delete your account from your Budgetezy profile. You can also revoke access previously granted to connected services from your profile.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on our website.
